The Hidden Pattern That Destroys Closeness With Your Kids and Partner
I thought Love was enough….it wasnt.
So many women believe closeness is created by trying harder.
Being more patient.
More understanding.
Giving more.
Doing more.
I used to believe that too.
I thought being a good mother and a good partner meant putting their needs first and doing all the emotional work.
But over time, I realized something heartbreaking:
The more I gave….
the less connected I actually felt.
Because closeness is not created through pressure, perfection, or emotional exhaustion.
It’s created through emotional safety.
And most women were never taught that.
We were taught to manage emotions…
fix problems…
keep the peace…
stay in control…
and carry the emotional weight of relationships.
But that often creates distance instead of intimacy.
In this podcast episode, I’m diving into:
💛 the hidden pattern destroying closeness
💛 why “doing everything right” can backfire in relationships
💛 what kids and partners actually need emotionally
💛 the difference between love and emotional safety
💛 how to create deeper connection without overgiving or losing yourself
If you’ve ever felt exhausted trying to hold everyone together…
this episode is for you.
